Ming Pao Publications, established in 1986, specialises in politics, economy, history and literature publications and book series. In recent years, in order to cater to the ever-changing preference and requirements of its readership, Ming Pao Publications has published a number of super-sized books and picture books. Its sister company, Crystal Window Books, mainly publishes books on leisure and general interest topics that are both educational and practical.

In 2002, Ming Pao Publications established Ming Man Publications, a publishing arm as a channel to publish the works of aspiring and talented authors. With a consultation group which comprise a number of renowned scholars and writers, Ming Man Publications has published a considerable number of quality titles for local and overseas writers thus far.
